Players are matched from a live queue. A win is worth 15 points and the highest score wins. Start and stop the tournament whenever you like — the lowest-effort setup.

Single elimination

Each match's loser is eliminated. Winners advance round by round until one player is left standing as champion.

Double elimination

Players drop to a losers' bracket on their first defeat and are only eliminated after a second. The winners' and losers' brackets meet in the final.

Round robin

Each participant faces every other participant one time; standings are decided by results across all matches. The most matches to coordinate.

Dear player,

I started Papergames.io in 2017 as a way for my colleagues and me to break our boredom in company meetings.

I vividly remember the cheeky smiles and giggles we exchanged while secretly playing Tic Tac Toe on our laptops in the back of the meeting room. We must have spent over 500 hours playing — much to the dismay of our bosses once they finally found out.

Nowadays, I’m on the other side.

I understand how hard it can be for managers, educators, or other remote leaders to engage their teams. In a world littered with distractions and constant busyness, it seems impossible to unite people — especially online.

papergames.io is my attempt to make this just a tad bit easier for you. Use it to engage your team, build connections, or simply break the ice.

(And do so before someone, like me, cheekily does it on their own 😉)

How can I check what content my Gruppo participants see?

You can test it by opening a new tab on private navigation, then paste the tournament's link on the search bar of your browser. You'll see a child-safe play zone with all the sensitive content filtered out.

How can I cancel?

Cancelling is super easy and you can do it by yourself under the account's settings. Once cancelled you won’t be billed anymore.

What currency is this in?

It's in US dollars.

Are the payments secure?

No, we do not enforce any contracts for long-term commitments or other contract obligations whatsoever. And there are no hidden charges or fees.
